I was born deaf and have a rare condition.

At the age of 22, I was told that my egg reserve was like that of a forty-year-old.

Together with my partner, I chose IUI to try to get pregnant.

The pregnancy was difficult due to my scoliosis and pelvic floor instability, which at one point made it impossible for me to walk.

During labor at the hospital, we decided to have a cesarean section. After four attempts at an epidural, which didn’t fully work, they put me under general anesthesia.

I remember almost nothing from those days. In hindsight, I felt that I would want to go through it again, to do it properly this time.
