My situation forced me into it,

but after a deep meditation I felt a second heartbeat.

I immediately thought, “I will always be there for you.”

We then chose to go for the child together,

regardless of what our relationship would look like.

But throughout the pregnancy it became clear that I was on my own.

Even though this is not the standard family model, as a single mother I now feel in a top position. The time we spend together, the time I get to completely immerse myself in parenthood.

I find myself in a position of luxury.
